Facebook says its financal chief Gideon Yu , is leaving the fastest growing social networking site .

Palo Alto Calif-based Facebook confirmed Tuesday itis looking for a new chief fanancial officer with " public company experience ".

It's the latest sign that the site may be looking to go public in the not so distant future . Despite the recession , Facebook also says it's in a good position for it's next stage of growth .
